Position Overview:
- Be part of a company that has a long-standing leadership position in serving the demanding applications of their industrial sectors.
- Excel as the Energy Engineer Manufacturing Process as you develop and implement energy projects throughout the manufacturing plant.
Energy Engineer Manufacturing Process Duties:
- Lead the development and implementation of energy projects which reduce consumption of energy to goals.
- Evaluate and recommend new technology and product offerings that have an impact on Plant Energy.
- Evaluate plant processes for optimum energy efficiency through energy monitoring systems and other statistical methods, including evaluation of utility bills and manual meter reading.
- Perform energy audits to identify areas in need of improvement.
- Lead initiatives to reduce dependence on energy.
- Implement the project plans to further reduce utility cost and improve energy consumption in material handling and power source.
- Implement and develop Six Sigma projects for material handling system automation that could eliminate raw material loss, downtime and energy cost.
- Lead implementation of corporate energy policy, procedures and culture change in the plant.
- Review energy monitoring systems for optimization.
- Establish best practices for operations and maintenance of energy systems in all parts of the manufacturing operation.
- Provide the oversight for a safe use of energy.
- Provide the counsel for environmental solutions best use of energy.
- Provide timely energy reports for decision makers and management.
- Facilitate the meeting of the Plant Energy Program Implementation Team.
